The Times They Are a-Changin' – Rohan Covent Garden

We have moved to 6a Langley Street, London, WC2H 9JA

The Times They Are a-Changin’

Gather ’round people
Wherever you roam
I know this will come as a bit of a shock.
Rohan is leaving Henrietta Street on 14th March 2014.
We have been together for twenty nine years.
In fact, Rohan was one of the first outdoor companies  to locate in Convent Garden.
Let’s remember all the good times we have had in Henrietta Street. Our lovely customers, staff, colleagues one and all. We have many wonderful memories.
My own are opening day, the basement on opening day, the long queues round the block on sale days, our lovely neighbours for years Christopher Dorling and Peter Kindersley and the Wine Bars. That lovely little magazine shop which sold specialist design magazines. The cat in the garden opposite, that blue plaque and all the Rohan managers, staff and friends.
Please share your own memories in the comments below.

But …

Don’t speak too soon
For the wheel’s still in spin
And there’s no tellin’ who
That it’s namin’
Langley Street calls. Very exciting. More to follow.
Thank you Bob (Dylan) – the master of thoughts to words.
Rohan Langley Street is now open

We have moved to a fantastic new location.

I'm rather sad to see the closure of the Henrietta Street store, though I imagine Langley Street will have more display space and stock. I wrote the article and took the photos linked to above ("that blue plaque"). Henrietta Street relieved me of a lot of my pocket money over the years, with a visit there almost every time I was down in London from the West Midlands.
